- 1/4 cup basmati rice
- 4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp. chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
- 1 tbsp. raisins
- Saffron strands (optional)
- Rosewater (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Wash and Soak the Rice:
Wash the basmati rice carefully and soak rice in water for 30 minutes. Make sure rice thoroughly soak so the flavor enhances. - Boil the Milk:
In a bottomed pan, bring milk to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer. - Cook the Rice:
